Chris Kiffin–Brother of Lane–Paid His Dues By Forging Warren Sapp’s Signature

From the Sunday Omaha World-Herald: Chris Kiffin, the younger brother of Lane Kiffin, son of Monte, and intern to the Nebraska Cornhusker football coaching staff–and how he has paid his dues through the years:

“In high school, one of his unofficial duties as a ball boy in Tampa was signing some of Warren Sapp’s fan mail. Big W, big S, big 99. I had it down pat,” Chris said. In exchange, Sapp ordered Nike warmup outfits for him.

Oh. Well. That’s nice. And what did little Timmy get for the nice fan mail he sent to Mr. Sapp? The life lesson everyone needs to eventuallly learn: most pro athletes are assholes.

Additionally, it makes you wonder: Do you think Lane has a problem forging a National Letter of Intent? I’m guessing….no.
