Robert Nelson: Welcome Back
February 1, 2010
Robert Nelson returns to the Omaha World-Herald today in an incredibly candid column about his absence from the paper the past three months.
(I would love to post it for you, but naturally, the World-Herald believes that you want to pay for their content.)
If you’ve got a OWH handy, definitely check it out. We consider Bob a friend of the show, and are very happy to see that he’s back. But more importantly, that it sounds like he’s doing well.
Welcome back, Bob. You were missed.

Robert:
Tom Pluhacek – I talked to you some time ago about my Mom being from Falls City and my being a good friend of the Chaney sisters. I wondered what had happened to you and then last night I read and re-read your editorial. I swore I could have written it my self. I would live to meet you for lunch some day. Please give me a call at 212-4418 or email me at pluhacekt@yahoo.com. Thanks Tom Pluhacedk
Was touched by your column on Monday. Now the problem is how you are ever going to top it!
Will pray that you will have nothing but sunny days from now on.
This is the first time I have ever written to anybody “famous.” Don’t worry about responding. I know you have too many others.
Just to be clear: Robert Nelson did not write this post, nor is a host of our radio.
But we will be sure to pass your notes along to him.
